Information We Collect
If you join the Photo Memory waitlist, we collect the email address you provide and the optional archive size description you enter.
How We Use Information
We use waitlist information to send product updates, early access invitations, launch information, and related support messages.
Service Providers
Waitlist submissions are processed by Formspree, which receives and stores the form data submitted through this website.
Local App Data
The Photo Memory app is designed to scan selected local folders on your Mac. It stores its search index, cached thumbnails, scan state, and audit logs locally on your device. Original photos stay in their existing folders and are not uploaded by default.
Local audit logs can include app actions such as adding sources, scanning, exporting selected files by copy, duplicate review actions, and optional error-reporting consent changes.
Duplicate Review Handoff
Duplicate review happens inside the app. The app can show duplicate groups with thumbnails and links that open Finder at the original file location so you can inspect files yourself. Photo Memory does not delete, move, rename, trash, recover, or clean up original files.
Optional Error Reporting
Error reporting is optional. If it is enabled, the app shows a local preview of the report before submission. Error reports are intended for debugging and can include app version, local archive health counts, redacted error messages, source-code file and line references, and sanitized backtraces.
Error reports are designed to exclude PII and user content, including photos, thumbnails, full indexes, face embeddings, license keys, full file paths, and search text. Error report opt-in, opt-out, preview, and submit attempts are recorded in the local audit log.
Data Sharing
We do not sell personal information. We may share information only with service providers needed to operate the waitlist or when required by law.
Your Choices
You may request deletion of your waitlist information by emailing support@v2rstudio.com.
